Emma is the founder and creative visionary behind Good Thunder. With a mix of strategic thinking and intuition, she creates content that is honest and impactful. Her career spans back to working in-house for a number of Auckland ad agencies. She holds a BA (Hons) in Communication Design from Massey University in Wellington, and her international stints working abroad in Vancouver and California have further enriched her network, skill set, and ability to think big picture.

Heather is a senior designer at Good Thunder, known for her precision, creativity, and ability to turn even the most technical documents into something engaging. From branding and signage to longform reports and presentations, she brings clarity and style to every project. Her work is equal parts thoughtful and impactful, tailored to fit everything from high-end luxury brands to hardworking tradies. If it needs to look sharp and communicate well, Heather makes it happen.

Victoria is a senior graphic designer with a deep appreciation for packaging intricacies and specialty printing techniques. With expertise spanning publications, packaging, signwriting, and brand development, she brings precision and creativity to every project. Her meticulous attention to detail, shaped by extensive experience in medical packaging, ensures accuracy down to the last barcode. Dedicated to brand stewardship, Victoria crafts visual assets that look the part and work seamlessly within each client’s identity and needs.

This is Isaac. He writes and thinks, and talks about writing and thinking. He’s done this for all kinds of brands, across all kinds of mediums, and picked up a bunch of awards along the way. Words need to work hard, sound natural, and sometimes, do the heavy lifting. Nothing delivers results and creates likability like great writing and Isaac can help make sure you get both.

Tayla works with Good Thunder to lead photography and videography and social media, capturing content that feels natural, authentic, and true to your brand. Her work plays an important role in how a business is seen and understood. When the imagery is right, people engage with it differently. It feels more real, more human, and gives a clearer sense of who they are dealing with. That’s especially relevant now, with so much AI-generated imagery and stock content that doesn’t quite sit right with an in-tune, AI-adverse, and intelligent audience. Tayla's approach avoids that entirely. What she captures belongs to the business. It reflects the people behind it, the environment they operate in, and the details that make it what it is. She has a way of making the process feel easy and natural, which shows in the end result, because people can see that what they’re looking at is real, and that care has gone into presenting their business properly.

Matt is the business lead at Good Thunder. With a background in civil engineering, Matt brings a unique skill set to our team. His engineering mind makes him the go-to person for tackling strategic challenges with a balanced and innovative approach. Composed and reliable, Matt manages our daily operations, maintaining high standards across everything we do.
